Susana started practising Pilates in her country, Mexico, to manage the stress produced by tight deadlines in her previous job as a designer. After a very short period of doing Pilates she discovered how useful the technique was for her lower back problems; thus, in 2005, she decided to become a certified instructor to help others to get the same benefits from Pilates.
Since then Susana has taken her fitness and Pilates education to professional levels; being her primary purpose making people aware of their bodies in the prevention of health problems related to their bad body posture.
When Susana arrived in the UK in 2010, she got the Level 3 Pilates Mat and equipment certification from a school with very high standards in their Pilates teaching techniques. She is passionate about the benefits that Pilates can bring to everyone’s everyday life and, as a result, she has caused a positive impact on people who follows her teaching.
Susana believes that by giving attention to their bodies, people can accomplish both, their professional and personal goals more efficiently. Therefore, she recommends practising Pilates at early stages to correct posture, avoiding with this misalignments and discomfort.
